Filler flower is found in the white carnations that offer a strong contrast between other similar size flowers. The carved pumpkin has strong green tints to better highlight the red shades in the arrangement: an orange pumpkin would clash with the gold based color hues apparent to house the bright shades of red and marron in other flowers.
